The USAS-12 is a weapon unlocked at 150000 Battlescore. The weapon unlike the other automatic shotguns favours damage and accyracy over rate of fire and magazine size.

History

The USAS-12 is an automatic shotgun that was based on vintage designs of the Atchisson shotgun. Due to Gilbert Equipment Co. (USA) lacking the means for manufacture the weapon, they sought out a possibile manufacturer which lead to Daewoo Precision Industries agreeing to produce the weapon. Soon after the weapon sold rather well to military and security forces of several asia countries.

General Information

The USAS-12's damage is rather high for an automatic shotgun, doing 120 damage per pellet within 15m and dropping to 30 damage at 30m and beyond. While only firing 7 pellets which limits its overall damage potential agianst most players, its high damage ensures its damage output is rather consitent unlike the low damaging automatic shotguns.

The weapon's rate of fire however is low, much lower than most of the automatic shotguns only firing at 200 RPM. This means that while damage is high, the time to kill is slower in comparison. However the USAS-12 has a better than average hipfire spread when compared to other automatic shotguns and a substantially lower maximum spread when firing full auto, the weapon is far more accurate in comparison which can allow the weapon to deal more damage at a longer distance.

While accuracy is much better than the other automatic shotguns, its magazine however is rather low with only 10 shells per magazine. This means that reloads are rather frequent but due to the slow rate of fire, such a rate is mitigated somewhat. Thankfully the weapon reloads faster than average at 2.5 seconds.

  • The weapon apparently lacks a bolt carrier model, this is noticable due to the fact both of its dust covers remain shut even while firing.
• The USAS-12 in real life is capable of firing at 400-450 RPM. The one seen in Base Wars fires at half the fire rate, most likely to balance the weapon.
  • The USAS-12 also can take either a 10 round magazine or a 20 round drum, though only the 10 round magazine is used.
