The KSG-12 is a weapon unlocked at 7500 Battlescore. The first of its kind, the pump-action shotgun fires slugs instead of the usual buckshot.
History
The Keltec KSG-12 is a bullpup pump-action shotgun that has two magazine tubes as opposed to one which doubles ready capacity and allows the possibility of having two seperate ammo types. Being made mostly with polymer, the weapon is actually lighter than some pump-action shotguns for half the capacity.
General Information
The KSG-12's damage is different compared to other pump-action shotguns due to the weapon firing shotgun slugs instead of buckshot, doing an incredible damage of 1150 within 10m and dropping to 500 damage at 38m. Though it is because it fires shotgun slugs it only fires a single pellet.
Given its overall accuracy, the weapon is very unreliable from the hip from only firing one pellet per shot and as such aiming is needed to make use of the weapon which is further hampered by the weapon's slow rate of fire of only 70 RPM. Thankfully its aimed accuracy is far better than any other shotgu and due to the high damage per shot, it has higher overall consistency when killing enemies with a single shot upclose.
The KSG-12 is bound to waste a few shots, fortunately the weapon has a generous magazine capacity of 14 shells which is the highest among any pump-action shotgun and with a high ammo reserve of 70 shells one wouldn't find themselves running out of shots quickly. The weapon also reloads rather quickly per shell reloading at 0.7 seconds per shell, though given the large magazine capacity reloading from empty will still be rather long.
Trivia
- The model is made by VotexAbrams951 and is animated by JimmyLJX
- The KSG-12 originally used to have iron sights, but the iron sights of the weapon were hard to use and was replaced by a holographic sight instead.
- The sight model used is the same as the M249.

- The KSG-12's slug firing nature is a nod to Black Ops 2's rendition of the weapon.
- Much like any other rendition of the KSG-12, the two seperate magazine tubes are treated as a single "magazine" and the player inserts shotgun shells into only one tube.
- The shotgun shell model is the same as the Shotgun's albeit being smaller in size to match the KSG-12's size.
- Contray to what the weapon icon shows, the weapon doesn't actually have a trigger model.
