The Submarine is a sea vehicle in Base Wars. It is also the only vehicle that is able to go Underwater, making it impossible for the enemy to see you without the use of glitches. Because of this, it can wreak havoc on ships that can't destroy it.

General Information[]

Despite the fact that it can go underwater, it has 7500 heath, which even surpasses the Battle Tank and Speed Boat. With additional armor which can reduce all incoming damage by 67% from all directions. By default the Submarine comes with Dual Torpedoes, which deal high damage towards other sea vehicles.

The Submarine also comes with a Secondary weapon, which by default is the Submarine 20mm Machine Gun, which can be useful to deal damage to aircraft and infantry. (These cannot be used while underwater)

The vehicle dose have some weaknesses, one being that the Torpedoes cannot reach land or air vehicles, meaning that they can easily destroy the submarine if exposed. Another is that you can't shoot other sea vehicles (besides other submarines) without going above water, which leaves you exposed and vulnerable to being shot.


Loadout Slots[]

The Submarine has a few variety of weapons, that variety mostly coming from it's secondary weapons. This slot can consider what the vehicle is best at destroying from Aircraft to other Naval Vessels. The Primary slot is made specifically to counter other vessels that are in the sea, giving the user two options between Dual Torpedoes and Micro Torpedoes.

Primary Weapons[]

The Dual Torpedo's Is an primary weapon of the Submarine.

General Information[]

The Dual Torpedo is a weapon that can destroy sea vehicles with ease, and can even one shot another Submarine's and Speed Boat's (If there's no armored equipped) being really easy to use in general, it's highly effective to sneakily destroy Destroyers.

Against Aircraft Carriers, due to the classification of it as a Mobile Spawn, the Torpedoes are fairly mediocre, taking dozens of shots to destroy one.

In addition, due to the torpedoes only being usable against naval targets or things in the water, it cannot damage vehicles or aircraft, and due to somewhat lower end velocity, may struggle to hit fast moving vessels enemies.

The Micro Torpedoes is a Primary Weapon for the Submarine.

General Information[]

The Micro Torpedoes are "smaller" and considerably weaker versions of the Dual Torpedo's. Dealing 1343 damage each shot, making you needing to land 4 shots to do the same amount of damage for one. They also take more time to fire all 8 of them and with the same reload time of 2 Seconds.

However, the Velocity of them is doubled, which could make it easier to hit fast enemy's from further ranges.

The Submarine 20mm Machine Gun is the Tier 1 Secondary Weapon of the Submarine.

General Information[]

The Submarine 20mm Machine Gun Is decent for taking down small aircraft or taking down already damaged light vehicles such as the ATV or Jeep. And it can still easily shred infantry that come to near the shore. But lacks at destroying heaver vehicles.

The 23mm HVAA Gun is the Tier 2-1 weapon for the Submarine

General Information[]

The 23mm HVAA Gun is essentially, an upgraded version of the Submarine 20mm Machine Gun minor a few differences, much more damage allows for taking down light Aircraft and Personnel somewhat easily, but at the sacrifice of the magazine size and rate of fire. The 23mm HVAA Gun also has the exact same Damage Multipliers as of the Submarine 20mm Machine Gun.

The Plasma Machine Gun is the Tier 2-2 weapon of the Submarine

General Information[]

The Plasma Machine Gun is basically the counterpart of the 23mm HVAA Gun, but instead of sacrificing speed for damage, it sacrifices damage for a very fast Rate of Fire. Even so, it is very underwhelming, taking an entire magazine to destroy an aircraft that is standing still and sometimes even more.

However, It makes up for this with its massive Damage Multipliers, as it has the highest of any of the Submarines Secondary Weapons, even better, it deals 3.75 more damage to navy vehicles, which leads to a total of 626.25 Per Shot, which makes it an excellent choice for naval combat, but really doesn't do that well for any other vehicles.

The 20mm HE Machine Gun is the Tier 3 weapon for the Submarine.

General Information[]

The 20mm HE Machine Gun is highly destructive, it deals the most damage to light aircraft of all the Submarines secondary weapons, and with some indirect damaged too. With enough good lined up shots, you can easily take down an light aircraft.

This makes the submarine somewhat more versatile, as instead of only really being good at sea combat, you can take down passing aircraft and sometimes light vehicles such as the ATV.

The Plasma Lance is the Tier 4 weapon of the Submarine

General Information[]

The Plasma Lance is a powerful weapon, at least against Naval Vessels and some Land Vehicles. While its certainly possible to destroy aircraft, its hard to aim and hit them, usually leading to them firing back and damaging the vehicle.

However, it can heavily damage naval vehicles due to its x3.75 damage multipliers, but they can easily fire back and heavily damage the Submarine. This somewhat makes the Plasma Lance obsolete though given enough range it can still destroy other naval vessels if they don't notice.

Armor[]

The Submarines No Armor is the default Armor option for the Submarine, allowing that extra bit of protection from all directions.

Despite having "No Armor" As it's name, it gives an tiny 33% Resistance from all directions, which provides a few more extra hits to go back and hide underwater.

Even so, it really is only a few extra hit's before the Submarine being destroyed. Some rounds, such as the Artillery's Armor-Piercing Shells and plenty of others will still one shot the vehicle easily even with the Armor on.

The Armor Level 1 for the Submarine is a direct upgrade from the default "No Armor", and is unlocked with 5,000 Battlescore. It gives an decent upgrade to resistance from all directions.

The Armor Level 1 is an good increase from the original 33% resistance into 55%, being an decent 22% increase, it allows for the submarine take more shots before being destroyed. This also allows for the Submarine to take an Anti-Tank Round and a couple of Rocket Launchers as well.

The Armor Level 2 is a good upgrade from the Level 1 armor, unlocked with 15,000 Battlescore, it provides even more resistance from all directions.

The Armor Level 2 is a decent increase form the Amour Level 1's 55% resistance into 67%, Despite it not being much of a increase, it's a upgrade from the Level 1's still gives more resistance and makes the Submarine able to take more damage before being destroyed.
